Our academies welcome children ages 3-16 years to sing and express themselves in a fun and relaxed environment, helping them to find their true voice. We also have a
Well Being Choir for Adults. Our academies are also fully inclusive, welcoming anyone with
SEN or Mental Health Difficulties.
Recommended ages 3-16 Years
This 60 minute session is filled with singing and music making. It’s also specially designed for children with SEN (Special Educational Needs) and PMLD (Profound & Multiple Learning Disability).
Your child will receive a fully immersive sensory experience every week in our lessons. We provide everything to fully support their learning from playing with instruments, dancing, sensory lighting, sensory toys, all the way along to lots of singing and music making. Please see our page dedicated to SEN and disabilities for classes and to learn about the benefits of singing.
3-5 Years
This 25-minute session is designed to support your child's learning through singing and music. We encourage your child to find their voice and build confidence through the love of singing. Each session has plenty of fun and sensory stimulation for the children whilst learning new songs. We have added activities within our sessions to help our pupils learn the basic drama skills and improve confidence ready for when they move up to Stage Stars. We encourage a chillout time at the end as a chance for the children to unwind before the session ends which is something the children always enjoy.
6-10 Years
This 30-minute session encourages children to find their voice and gain confidence through their love of singing. Each session begins with fun warm up activities to support voice development and to get the children into good practice. They study songs from all genres of music such as Pop, Rock, RnB, Musical Theatre, and more so they’ll always find a song to enjoy, no matter their musical interests!
11-17 Years
This 40-minute session allows children to have full musical expression. We want children to come to our session and feel they can find their true voice in a safe and fun environment. Each session begins with some technical warm ups to support the voice development. We then proceed to study songs from a variety of genres, everyone will get the chance to find music they really like. We also encourage music making through fun as this builds confidence and we have proven this with all our Born2Sing students. It’s not all just about studying though - we often play singing games in our sessions as this also supports confidence building.

Our Well Being Choir welcomes adults of all abilities to sing freely without any pressure to perform. We sing music from all genres, practice vocal technique, breathing exercises, and more. Although there is no pressure to perform, we still offer opportunities for all adults who may wish or enjoy performing at our events and showcases as this encourages growth and confidence building. Our group is welcoming to those with disabilities and SEN as there are many proven benefits to support them through singing.
6-16 Years
Led by Dean Finlan, our drama classes welcome children from ages 6 to young people aged 16. If your child is born to perform or just loves being creative, our drama lessons are the perfect place to start.
